I really love all the features of this plugin but I'm having problem with the indexation section.
I marked the following pages to prevent index for them: search results, login and register pages, all admin pages, date-based archives and tag archives.

However, when I looked at the source of those pages, I couldn't find any meta robots tag except in the login/register page. I also looked in the virtual robots.txt file in mydomain.com/robots.txt but there was no indication for these pages either.
Got any suggestions?

I'm going round and round in circles trying to find a decent search plugin for wordpress. The website I've created is using the constructor theme (useful, but not overly friendly) and search was horrible on WP 3.0

In the end I had to plumb for Google Custom Search to get the right "feeling".

It's just another way to display it. Sometimes bloggers like to display the number of followers just next to their RSS button feed.

I'm using SEO Ultimate but I would love to see a head-to-head match up between these two plugins. I have a few other plugins from Yoast and I'm happy with them all.

looks like if you load a new photo this works but the old photos will have the old url stored - i assume you could do a find replace in the database to update the photo urls?

thank you for the hyperlocal post. I'm setting-up a similar concept: a global health and wellness site - but with local online "chapters" based on their geo location... so they can invite local businesses to be expert advisors for our chapter (which are leads to them).

Can you suggest the best way to set that up with buddypress? I originally wanted to set-up subdomains like: www.LosAngeles.HealthAndWel... - but I've found that the sub-domains option doesn't work with shared hosts (I have hostgator).

So, do you think I should set it up with sub-folders? or with Groups? I'd like to pay people who run each group 50% residual of any businesses they sign-up for a free trial (as an expert advisor) that upgrades...

I'd really appreciate your help

For those who is using Mac I will recommend MAMP for running WordPress localy. I'm using it myself and it's easy to install.

there is a plugin that allows this but it makes sense to generate your own code to enable this. What section of the admin would be required to change to insert this when you login to the admin page ?
